Gary made a strong start quickly winning the first set 6-1 but an early break in the second in favour of David proved decisive as every other game in the set followed serve, so David winning it 6-4 to take the match into a third set Championship tie-break decider. David was always marginally ahead throughout the tie-break and took it by 10-7, to win the coveted Club Single’s title.

The Ladies Doubles handicap match saw the junior pairing of Millie Parsons Hann & Ellie Edwards playing against Clare Parsons Hann and Joanna Dalietos with the younger pair having a slight handicap advantage over their more experienced opposition.
